Shakedown is a Facebook community for race fans. We're based in Australia, but welcome members from around the globe. Founded in 2015 for fans of Sportscar, GT and Endurance racing, the Shakedown point of difference is simple: No trolls or d***heads. We moderate our group carefully to keep it civil, inclusive and suitable for race fans of all ages.

In 2020, we saw a growing desire in the community to discuss more forms of racing. So we added two sister groups: Formula Shakedown covering all forms of open wheel racing, and Shakedown Simracing, which now holds its own racing leagues and caters to sim drivers on all platforms.

With support from our valued partners, we look after our members with meetups and competitions when we can. The Bathurst 12 Hour is the 'jewel in the crown' of the Shakedown calendar.
